Review: The ATV Pro by Kanex: Connect Your iOS Device to Your Classroom Projector!

The ATV Pro by Kanex is the ‘ultimate’ solution to connect your iOS device to your projector in your classroom. It is incredibly light. There is no power cord. It plugs directly into your Apple TV and the VGA cord plugs directly into it. There is even a ‘headphone out’ port to plug in some speakers. 

I love this device.  Watch the video to see all the cords it replaced and how useful it is!

If you are going to connect your Apple TV and iOS device to a VGA projector, this is a must-have device.

    This is definitely a must have for any teacher using Apple TV with a projector. I have been using it since the first day of school and my technology flows into my teaching better than ever before!

    I am using this setup in my classroom however I am having difficulty getting sound from my ipad to my smartboard via the apple tv and kanex atv pro adapter. I have tried a 3.5mm stereo to RCA cable connected to the wallplate next to my smartboard with no success. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
